Applications are open for: Woodwind, Brass, Strings, Harp, Percussion, and Keyboard.
Please complete the above application form. Upon completion, you will be sent a confirmation email which outlines the audition requirements and includes a link to the orchestral excerpts.
You must be aged 18-25 when the YMSO season begins in October 2026.
Audition Dates:
Guildhall School of Music & Drama: 15th-17th April 2026
Royal Birmingham Conservatoire: 19th April 2026
Royal Northern College of Music: 21st April 2026
Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama: 23rd April 2026

Please prepare ONE movement from a concerto. An accompanist will be provided, but you are welcome to bring your own.
